Surrey Pool

October 2007, I got a text message from an old friend Trevor asking if I wanted to skate a permission pool nearby.
This is a little clip of a couple of the boys, Trevor and Tom skating it.
filmed by Ian Cocking.
Think I'll have to chase him up for the rest of the film...

We hit it again the next week with Sean Goff, Jellyhead and various others from Oxford and Crawley...

What Abec Mister?

Well who'd of thought it eh?
A band called Precision Bearings, this 3 track 7" was released in 1981 on the Fowl Records label.
It appears that Precision Bearings were a San Francisco based 'art collective.
The tracks are Roller Funk, Roller Bliss and Don't Fall Down.

Sort of Avant Garde Jazz Funk Experimental stuff, that hippy would probably love it...

Make up your own mind

Schralp...

Not mine (obviously) these belong to Mike the Mechanic.
He doesn't want to change them now as he's used to them locking onto the coping...

In A Rub-A-Dub Style

Dedicated to Bob, who broke his laptop by having too much reggae on it.
Not a Pipeline cover in sight.

Prince Jammy at the controls.

Enjoy

Dyed wheels

After and before shots.
Over did the amount of Tangerine Rit Dye I used and they came out a bit too dark.
Oh well...

Kooks at Wanchese

I just had to put this up on here.
What a brilliant video from Concretin Jon shot at the recent Kook visit to Wanchese bowl.

The Chief from Jon Burgess on Vimeo.

Wouldn't mind something like that in the garden of Mullet Mansion

Some day my prints will come...

Got my prints back today from the film I shot with the Vivitar UW&S.

Pleased with the results, love the vignetting and flare.

You can view them here hopefully.

B&W film next I think seeing as a very kind man gave me a bag full of them...
