VOV321

I pass this car on the way home from work most days.
I wondered what it was for ages until one day it was parked nose out so I could read the bonnet badge read B O R G W A R D, I was still none the wiser really.
A quick google showed up a few results.

Anyway I'm usually driving so can't take a photo but thanks to handy traffic lights for road works I managed to get the photo above.

You can read about the Bremen based builders here and spookily read about the car pictured here

Zoock...

were a band from the Bracknell/Wokingham area who were doing the rounds in the late 80's. They had a great Acid Jazz sound in a JTQ type stylee.
I worked with Ethan the percussionist (great cheekbones) and went to school and worked briefly with Mark the trumpet player.
Here's a couple of pictures from South Hill Park's Wilde Theatre and here are a couple of their 2 track cassettes...

Donchester Wallride Attempt

This bloke was a local who had a lot of lines in this park, he was trying these wallrides up the steps, I only filmed this one attempt on my phone.
Not one of his best attempts he was getting close to making these.

Ricoh 500RF vs Vivitar Ultrawide & Slim

Two shots of Steve S at Crawley both taken at the same session and more or less from the same place, both using Fuji 200 film.

Top one taken with the Ricoh, bottom one with the Vivitar.

I didn't consciously set out to make this comparison it just so happened that I had both cameras in my bag on the day.

Donchester

Went to the Donchester yesterday.
Good little session in a nice little park.
Me, PeteD, the gaffer, Tone-Loc and DTB.

Took a few pictures, mostly with the Ricoh so nothing to see yet.

Chuffed with this sequence montage I knocked up in PS of a young local ripper.

and this gif of it too.

Biennale Mondiale de l'Aerostation

Every other end of July/beginning of August on odd numbered years would find us heading for an ex Nato airbase on the French-German border.
The largest balloon meet in Europe, great countryside to fly in, great farmers and great cheese.
This shot was taken with the Minolta Vectis 2000, an APS camera which was set in panoramic mode for this. Must have been taken by the wife I think as according to my log book I flew both morning and evening of the 1st that year. I bought the camera from Argos and planned to use it then take it back under their 28 day money back guarantee unused, unfortunately I dropped it denting it, I still have it.

10p fillum

Result!
Picked this up from my local lunchtime charity shop today for 10p.
C41 process before 03/2005.
The same shop that I told the manageress that if she had any old films she should put them on sale and not throw them out if they were out of date like she told me she'd been doing...

Tall Guy

Used to do a bit of stilt walking etc.
Here's a rare photo of me in action, I'm at a ex workmates wedding reception.
He jokingly asked if I was gonna turn up at the reception wearing them so I did.
Looks like I'm on my 2' 6" ones in this photo.

Give Us A Go Mister?

Bumped into the bloke back in 2001 at Zeebrugge docks on my way back from a gig with the Panasonic Battery balloon.
I seem to remember he told me he'd been touring Belgium on it.

Wouldn't let me have a go though...
