My new lens arrived today.

8mm f/3.5 Falcon Fisheye.

Can't wait to try it out.

Dad Swag

Went over to visit the old folks yesterday and came away with some swag.

60-300mm Tokina SZ-X lens it's a PKA fitting so I can use it on my DSLR on the auto setting on the lens and the apertures adjust automatically.

Also got an old Carl Zeiss Jena 50mm f2.8 lens which has a M42 thread fitting but it's got a PK adaptor so I can use that on my DSLR too, the adaptor will also let me use the 28mm Practica lens I've got.

Oh and a skylight 1B and a circular polarising filter that'll fit my 18-55 zoom.

My dad is the carboot bargain king.

My guess is that Climax Mfg didn't name these fine trucks after the 80's Ford saloon car.

These turned up from Frank at Strangehouse yesterday after I ordered them on Friday night and they were shipped Saturday.

These are the SP1 150's.

Looking good, bit like the bastard love child of an Indy and a Tracker Race Track.

These are to go onto the Cockfight when it turns up, I'll probably stick some Tracker inverted kingpins in them first though.

Cockfight Jesse Davis 'Sinking Feeling' Square Tail.

32.55 long, 8.6, squarish 7 inch nose, 14.75 wheelbase, tapers to 8.25 with a 6.5 tail, also somewhat squarish, hopefully not too short for me, we'll see, might be able to squeeze a bit more wheelbase out of the little fella.

Jesse says... "square shape = 1991...concave will be "claw" which is slightly deeper than medium...but not super deep
also the "claw" concave has a nose and tail that are curved at the bottom instead a hard angle"

Knit1

Went to Unit1 in Rochester on Saturday and met up with a few mates.
Dr Bill form Oz was feeling poorly so didn't come, whinging bloody Oztraylians.

Anyway Chris Ault (DDK represent) was there and pulled of this bloody big transfer across the driveway thingy.



Oh and this fella was there too...



Gnardog's drop in rail has gone now so don't know what he's gonna do when he returns.

RSW = Raleigh Short Wheelbase?

This was a fun ride, Raleigh RSW14 with the frame cut down making it very short, underseat steering. Upright ride but with arms by the side it was surprisingly comfy.
