Ricoh results

Here's Graham from the Rom at Crawley snapping back a layback lip slide.
Tracker's por vida!

As you can see I've still got a light leak...
Resealed it last night. Fingers crossed.

This week I have mostly...

...been drinking St.Austell Brewery's Clouded Yellow.
A very nice wheat beer that hits the spot.

Fuggles?

I've just got back from a walk along the river.

Found some hops growing wild in the hedgerow.

Plan Ahea

I pass this house in Lakeside Road every day on the way to work, it's between a mini roundabout and a narrow railway bridge meaning I haven't had the chance to stop and take a photo easily, however lunchtime today the traffic conditions were on my side... or should that be on my sid?

Found a Rangefinder

Well the charity shop won again, this time it's a Ricoh 500RF.
Sweet little Rangefinder camera, rewinder is broken but I can live with that, biggest problem is that the lightseal foam has degraded into a sticky mess.
I've managed to remove it with some Sticky Stuff remover, I've got some sticky backed foam somewhere that I reckon can be cut to shape.

On A Cresta Run

So I went out to take some photos with the Cresta II at lunchtime today but had a problem with the shutter sticking, I ended up buying the Brownie Cresta 3 from the same shop as before. I nearly bought it originally but changed my mind at the last moment.

Anyway I decided to remove the partially exposed film from the Cresta II and load it into the Cresta 3, luckily the worlds smallest toilet at work is pretty dark with the light off so it was pressganged into doubling as a makeshift darkroom.

One small slip meant I relised that I had loaded the film onto the internals of the 3 and then put that into the body of the II (the one with the sticky shutter, doh!).

Now in the 3 and ready to go (hopefully not completely ruined anyway)

X-TRA, X-TRA (read all abhaaat it)

Well the film arrived today, not bad seeing as I ordered it on Wednesday and we've had a bank holiday as well.

Loading into the Cresta II was a bit tricky but I think it's in there round the right way.
