Buggy
I've always wanted a Beach Buggy I think it goes back to my childhood.
When I was growing up Fibre-Fab used to rent a building on my mates dad's farm, not at the address in this ad though, they must have moved in the mid 70's, this ad is from Custom Car mag (Dec 1976).
The only access to the farm was past our house so they were always blatting up and down the road.
Oh and Beach Buggies should always be SWB imho.

Rocky's Horror Show
Click on pics for full size.
Now way, way back in the day when this was all fields and way before some of our younger readers were born there didn't used to be any
This article has stuck in my head since December '76 when it was published in Custom Car magazine. So much so that 4 years ago I asked what had happened to Rocky Brann on Oldskaters, see I wasn't wrong about the Gecko connection ;-) Alec 1 - TLB 0.
Sad to say he's dead now and I bet that bird on the board don't look like that these days either.

Oh No Not another One?!?!
Today's RSPCA Charity shop find.
A Miranda Solo Panorama 35mm camera.
£1, boxed with instructions and some labels to stick on the film cannister to warn the processing lab that it's in panoramic format. No technical spec for the camera in the instructions though so no idea what the shutter speed/aperture is.
It recommends using ISO 400 film for best results.
Looks to me that it just masks the negative top and bottom as it says in the instructions that '12,24 or 36 exposure films will yield a corresponding number of dramatic, panoramic format 89mm x 254mm (3.5" x 10")prints'
I'm also guessing that with a bit of tweaking it could be made to take full frame shots but wide angle to maybe rival the Vivitar UW&S

"I Love The Sound Of Breaking Glass"
sang Nick Lowe, and he could well have been singing about the skatepark in Dagenham.
I reckon we visited there after the AGM of the Dagenham and District Bottle Smashers Association.
Good fun park though even if I did get a parking ticket and sunburn as souvenirs last time I was there.
I've badly stitched 3 photos together for you so you can get an idea of what it's all about.

Have That Your Majesty!
HaHa. That'll teach them to try and stitch me up.
Complained about the fact that they'd based their calculations on US Dollars and not UK Pounds.
Next thing to do is write a letter to ParcelFarce and ask for my £8 handling charge back. Wonder if I should ask for money to cover having to drive there to collect my parcel too?

Goons Of Brixton
Made my way up to Stockwell Skatepark on Sunday morning. -4C when I left home.
Met up with some of the Surrey and Sussex boys.
Top picture is Ricardo, nice bit of lens flare from shooting into the morning sun.
Bottom picture, bit of an overview JamesR nearest and Ricardo with a frontside on the sausage.
Great park to bomb around on a longboard.
Film was out of the camera I bought at Donchester carboot sale which I subsequently dropped and knackered, I stuck it in the Chinon my dad gave me.
